Ladybug, ladybug, fly away....

Lady bugs to be released early spring.

Ladybugs, which are members of the beetle family, feed on tiny insects, such as aphids, scale insects and plant mites, that can destroy flowers and crops.  Their presence in the park will help to protect the roses near the sundial garden as well as other types of flowers that attract destructive insetcs.

The event is free and open to the public.
